My name is Judy Walker and I am the author of Frankie, an adventure novel for children about a 13 year old boy called Frankie who goes to live with his hippyish aunt and uncle in Northumberland. He has to make new friends and learn to like their Geordie accents, as well as get used to no TV and the sight of his aunt in strange yoga poses first thing in the morning. At school he pals up with Dafydd and a blind girl called Celia, but has a few runins with local low-life, Kyle Morgan. Things start to hot up when Frankie's aunt and uncle reveal a family secret to him. Then he gets involved in an adventure with his new friends as they try to discover why their creepy art teacher, Mr Jenkins, and Kyle are mixed
